Australian PropTech Innovator Realtair Acquires Leading Sales Training Platform Real Estate Academy
Sydney, 25 March 2020 Australian PropTech platform Realtair announced today they have acquired Real Estate Academy, a deal that places the company at the forefront of progressive technology development and delivery in Australian real estate.
Realtair CEO and Co-Founder, Peter Matthews, said they had been working with Lee Woodward, widely regarded as Australia’s leading real estate sales trainer, and the Real Estate Academy team over the past two years to refine this collaboration.
“Lee and his team are experts at the onboarding, delivery and training of real estate technology,” commented Matthews. “The Real Estate Academy sales training platform dovetails seamlessly with the entire Realtair sales process workflow of Pitch, Sign, AuctionNow and Flow. Our clients will receive world class service delivery when signing up for our solutions.”
Coming one month after Realtair announced its merger with Damien Cooley’s AuctionNow online auction platform, the move demonstrates the company’s commitment to provide real estate agents with an exceptional end to end digital sales solution, designed to streamline the sales process and create essential cost and time savings.
Woodward and Matthews have worked together for over 20 years. Woodward said, “I have been training salespeople for a long time and I immediately recognised that Realtair’s products were perfectly timed to address the needs of the digital agent and the 21st century consumer. This expansion and collaboration allows for our major events, The Complete Salesperson Course and The Complete Leader, to be integrated with great technology into the future of real estate for all our existing members and the wider Australia real estate community. It also allows for our systems and solutions to be used internationally. For existing Real Estate Academy members, it is business as usual for us here at the Academy headquarters. And for our new customers, we are delighted to have the opportunity to work with them.
The move also unites the passionate trio of Matthews, Cooley and Woodward, creating a strong and dynamic team all working to advance the real estate sales process and Realtair’s growth.
“I have no doubt that there is no one better to deliver the industry into the future, ensuring that tech is applied to sales technique in the most effective manner possible,“ added Matthews.
It has been a busy time for Realtair with AuctionNow gaining huge traction due to the current impediments placed on face to face auctions from coronavirus.
