Australian proptech platforms Realtair and AuctionNow combine to create powerful digital solution

Australian PropTech innovator Realtair announced today that they will merge with leading independent auction platform, AuctionNow, in a move that will see the formation of Australia’s first genuine end to end, integrated digital sales transaction platform.

At a time where embracing transformation and technology is crucial to the survival of many real estate agencies, both Realtair and AuctionNow strive to streamline the sales process, creating essential cost and time savings.

Realtair CEO and Founder, Peter Matthews, says the merger with Damien Cooley’s AuctionNow is perfectly timed at the start of this new decade. “At Realtair we have digitised and automated nearly every step in the transaction process with our products Pitch, Sign and Flow. The missing part was live auction technology and AuctionNow is the leader in this field.”

Matthews commented that finding business efficiencies and improving the client experience was critical. “The best part of this merger is that agents can harness these solutions today. Our products are in use by leading agencies, adding measurable value by integrating with existing CRMs and marketing platforms to deliver real-time, quantifiable benefits to agents, vendors and purchasers,” he said.

According to AuctionNow CEO and Founder, Damien Cooley, the move was a logical one for them. “I have known Peter for many years and we share a passion to transform and protect our industry against future challenges. I’m convinced that AuctionNow will continue to grow and thrive within the Realtair ecosystem,” he said.

Cooley, now a shareholder in Realtair,  will work to support and be an ambassador for the company while continuing to run his highly successful auction business, Cooley Auctions.
